I'm thinking of starting a parapsychology club...

Cool, a comment from someone I don't know that's not spam! Excellent!
But in regards to your comment about it being bullshit, I'm reading a book by Dr. Dean Radin entitled "The Conscious Universe" that would disagree with you.
You can read his first chapter here: http://www.deanradin.com/Chapter1.html
I highly recommend it.
This is the dumbest thing ever. Its all bulshit experiments and misleading statistics. With all these "studies" that have been done don't you think there would be some more concrete evidence by now?
What luck! One passing comment about parapsychology, and I find two experts on the area! So how much research have both of you done on this topic? ... (yes, sarcarsm).
But in answer to your question, "don't you think there'd be concrete evidence by now?"
A1: What makes you so sure that if there WAS evidence you'd be privy to it?
A2: When was the last time you read anything from the field (with an open mind)?
I'll admit I'm no expert in the field, but someone demonstrating some kind of psionic ability would be big news. Having an open mind has nothing to do with it, thats your problem right there. You should be skeptical until proven otherwise. In my opinion all parapsychology is trying to find complex answers to random occurences.
Well, it's true that claims of parapsychology don't make sense in our classical ways of thinking about space and time.
However, what is REALLY interesting, is that if you read some of the newest theories and models of quatum physics you find stuff that not only explains, but also will predict "psi" phenomena.
PS I also wrote a longer response to you on my main blog. Sorry I did not reply sooner, it's been a busy couple weeks at school.
