A Green Christmas

…in more ways than one.

Some of you may have noticed the unusual weather we’re having this holiday season. There’s more to come!

If you haven’t been paying much attention to the Climate Change/Global Warming debate, let me update you: the DEBATE is OVER. In fact, the debate (in scientific spheres) has been over for sometime, but the illusion of the debate (fueled by the Oil Companies, large polluters, and public press) has been lingering for some time.

Climate Change is happening, Global Warming is happening. Go see Al Gore’s movie An Inconvenient Truth is you have any lingering doubt.

We all have a part to play. Go here to read about what you can do over the holidays, and go here to read what you can do anytime of the year.

Be the change you want to see in the world!

change a light bulb (or two).

A New Hope

Stephane Dion has recently been elected leader of Liberal Party. Hopefully he will be able to beat the Evil Harper, and hopefully he will stay true to his course of sustainable development. It’s time we Canadians look the future straight in the eye, and stop digging our own graves.

To be fair, Harper is not evil per-se. He just represents a short-sighted, self-interested party that is currently leading our nation down the path of destruction. Basically he represents a party that embraces values that allow the Evils of excessive green houses gases, Climate Change and Global Warming to proliferate.

Stephen Harper does not personally release 758 million tonnes of carbon dioxide into the air every year, but he has the power to fix the problem. Not only does he NOT use his power, he puts forth legislation that makes the problem worse. Is not the accomplice as guilty as the murderer?

Vote Green next election, and if you can’t vote Green, vote Liberal.
